ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

Applicants will be considered for an internship on one of the following teams:

Compliance: Invenergy's Compliance department is a dynamic group that engages with key stakeholders across the company to address ongoing and emerging issues. The team has a primary focus on preserving Invenergy's integrity, particularly in critical areas of regulatory and reputational risk, such as trade and supply chain compliance, data privacy, policy management, due diligence and more. The Compliance Intern will assist with various compliance initiatives, across many topics. High-level tasks may include: conducting research and responding to requests from stakeholders across the business, developing department communications, surveys, job aids, quick reference guides, and presentations, notifying team members of potential compliance risks, and delivering presentations proposing a solution and/or recommended guidance on an assigned Compliance topic to Invenergy's SVP and Chief of Compliance.

Legal: Invenergy's Legal department is a group of highly skilled professionals that engage with key stakeholders across the company to provide strategic legal advice, support and guidance to Invenergy's commercial, operational, management and administrative teams. The legal team's support extends to matters covering real estate, permitting & local affairs, commercial, corporate and international matters. Interns chosen for an internship with Invenergy's legal department will assist with and support matters falling under the above categories alongside and under supervision by Invenergy legal department attorneys. Through this internship the legal department will aim to provide interns with a fundamental understanding of the renewable energy industry and considerations needing to be kept in mind when acquiring, developing, operating or selling renewable energy projects both from a business perspective and from the perspective of a legal professional needing to provide guidance to a renewable energy developer client.

Note: Specific assignments and projects are yet to be determined and will be based on the selected candidate's skill set.
