All About You

The laboratory of Dr. Angel Baldan in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Saint Louis University has an immediate opening for a junior postdoctoral fellow with proven expertise in lipid/sterol metabolism, ncRNAs, RNA-seq, and/or molecular mechanisms of diet-induced diseases (CVD, NAFLD, obesity). The Baldan laboratory has ongoing research programs related to lipid droplet-associated proteins, sterol-regulated ncRNAs, and liver/adipose/intestinal/lipoprotein lipid homeostasis. An independent and highly motivated candidate with a recent Ph.D. degree and rigorous training inmolecular/cell biology is required for the position. Competitive candidates have two or more first-author publications and are experienced and comfortable working with mice. Candidates with research experience in bioinformatics and next-generation sequencing are preferred but not required.
