SHOP SERVICE TECHNICIAN
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean, inspect, service, and test equipment upon return and prior to loading
- Assist in loading and unloading equipment promptly and per company procedures
- Assist in making minor repairs to equipment
- Utilize company tools and equipment safely and properly
- Perform tasks such as fueling equipment
- Promptly report equipment problems and needed parts
- Organize equipment in yard and maintain a clean company facility and workstation
- Deliver and pick up equipment and supplies as needed
- Operate company vehicles safely
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Assist the yard and shop with other tasks as needed
CHARACTERISTICS & ABILITIES VITAL TO THIS POSITION:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Results oriented and organized multi-tasker
- Easily adaptable to frequently changing tasks and responsibilities
- Self-starter and not afraid to ask questions
EDUCATION AND/OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- CDL preferred
