Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Lockbox Remittance Specialist handles the servicing of all commercial lockbox services, including any operational functions that may pertain to the service. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing and maintenance of customers lockbox deposits.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Receive and process all lockbox deposits from various commercial customers.

- Sort, open and process batches of work as required for this function.

- Process any corrections.

- Receive and answer customers inquires in a timely manner regarding customers lockbox and research any questions that may arise from the lockbox function.

- Bill each customer monthly appropriately according to the services provided.

- Maintain confidentiality of customer account information; follow established policies and procedures in responding to inquiries and request.

- Assist with other commercial operational functions as needed.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING


Knowledge of:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meetings deadlines

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

  • Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year previous retail banking or lockbox experience preferred.
  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
