Overview:
Will report to nursing leadership on assigned floor. Receive training from physical therapist, occupational therapist, safe patient handling coordinator, as well as nursing services. Will demonstrate competencies in performing bed mobility, transfers, ambulation, ADLs, safe patient handling equipment, body mechanics, weight bearing status, and vitals. Will demonstrate competencies in required EPIC documentation. Strong communication skills with coworkers of all disciplines to meet all quality improvement requirements
