Summary

The Commercial Loan Coordinator II is responsible for the commercial loan request from application to closing. This position will assist in the lending process of commercial loan requests through proper documentation while balancing service, quality compliance, and relationship building.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Commercial Lenders and Credit Analysts to obtain the documentation required for timely loan closings.
  • Enters customer data into Core Systems and reviews for accuracy.
  • Communicates with the Servicing Department to help ensure proper time management of the filing process.
  • Works closely with the Post Closing Department for accuracy in documentation and documentation tracking.
  • Provides customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Understands and complies with industry regulations.
  • Ensures that entries comply with all applicable regulations.
  • Handles intermediate complex situations and escalates issues to higher levels.
  • Maintains customer confidence by keeping client information confidential.
  • May mentor more junior-level coordinators or review their work as needed.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate knowledge of the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
  • Verbal and written communication skills that reach a wide range of audiences.
  • Organizational skills and detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Team-oriented, possesses a positive attitude, and works well with others.
  • The ability to provide a high level of customer service.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a related field required.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience preferred.

Systems & Technology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
