This opportunity is in the Claims Department.

Our Claims department oversees both high-exposure workers' compensation and liability claims. As an unbundled carrier, we work actively with third-party administrators (TPAs) and self-administered accounts to assist in guiding claims to a successful resolution. As an excess carrier, the catastrophic claims we handle keep our group challenged, but the uniqueness provides plenty of growth opportunities.

Role Description:

In the role of Senior Liability Claims Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the Liability Claims Services Team and Liability Claims Operations in the areas of claims system management, data and analytics; project management, continuous improvement initiatives, internal and external partner relationships in order to maximize performance and value of the Liability Claims unit.

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Senior Liability Claims Analyst will include:

  • Providing claim assistance in various administrative functions associated with the liability lines of business such as Auto, General Liability, Employers Liability, Public Entity, Cyber, Construction, MultiNational, Excess, and Umbrella product offerings.
  • Understanding daily liability claim operations in order to support and assist with the collaboration and coordination of claims intake, assignment/segmentation, process, data, and account management operations.
  • Assisting with collecting and analyzing data needed to support Liability Claims trend identifications, KPI, project and process metrics, TPA oversight/management, unassigned inventory, and other areas determined necessary.
  • Developing and coordinating data deliverables (visuals, reports, dashboards etc) to assist data needs, as noted above.
  • Reviewing, reassigning, and managing Arbitration forums.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university required

Required:

  • Proficient in Office, Outlook, Share Point, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Understanding of liability claims processes and operations, project management, and data analytics
  • High level of attention to detail and strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred:

  • 5+ years' experience working with a commercial insurance carrier or third party administrator (TPA)
  • 3+ years of process, project, and data management
