Job Summary

The HRIS Analyst will develop and drive efficiencies and processes that align with the firm's and the human resources department's long-term strategic goals. This position will engage with business leaders to analyze, evaluate, recommend, and implement technologically feasible, financially, and functionally reasonable changes to the Human Resources Information Systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Stifel's HCM, including system enhancements and upgrades, upstream and downstream systems and processes, and third party integrations.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams (HR, IT and Finance) to develop highly effective solutions to help streamline and automate HR processes.
  • Support critical system maintenance and operational tasks within the HRIS.
  • Assess current system utilization and identify and recommend improvements, such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize the HRIS's value and efficiency.
  • Recommend and establish processes, procedures, and documentation for HRIS system features and functionality for end-user communication and training.
  • Create and audit appropriate security roles across all human resources systems to maintain and improve system integrity, data accuracy, and security.
  • Develop test cases and conduct functional testing for system upgrades, enhancements and new functionality.
  • Identify system problems, perform problem resolution, provide support and implement corrective and preventative solutions.
  • Provide tiered support to the human resources operations team.
  • Use business intelligence tools to create analytics and dashboards to inform HR strategies.
  • Collect, analyze, and audit data to prepare compliance and regulatory report responses.
  • Develop and maintain reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Stay current on the latest process and HRIS advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Liaise between HRIS and vendors to resolve system issues.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of SaaS applications, databases, reporting tools, and IT infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated data-driven mindset with analytical skills for interpreting complex data sets.
  • Familiar with HCM solution modules and concepts such as human resources, benefits administration, open enrollment, time and attendance, LMS, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and salary planning.
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of payroll system processes is preferred.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum Required: 2+ years of HRIS experience managing the complete system implementation life cycle, including requirements gathering, scope management, process design, system configuration, integration, user acceptance testing, training, and go-live.

Systems & Technology

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required to complete analyses.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Prior experience as a SaaS application systems administrator is preferred.
  • Experience administering UKG Pro (formerly Ultipro) is preferred.
