Job Purpose

As coordinated with the Lead/Supervisor and with other Janitors, the employee must be able to perform the following activities:

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Maintain offices, cafeteria, hallways, restrooms, and all other company premises in a sanitary condition.

  • Clean and disinfect toilets, urinals, sinks, and locker areas.

  • Stock and maintain janitorial supplies including but not limited to paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, hand sanitizers, soap, and other supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas of the plant as needed.

  • Remove and dispose trash in restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other common areas of the plant.

  • Wipe down and sanitize common touch pouch surfaces including but not limited to door handles, handrails, water fountains, tables, and counters in restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.

  • Sweep and mop floors in assigned areas.

  • Inspect and minimize dust and soils on fixtures and other non-routinely cleaned surfaces in restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other common areas of the plant as needed.

  • Maintain and safely handle janitorial chemicals.

  • Stock and maintain an accurate inventory of janitorial supplies and notify management of ordering needs.

  • Adequately organize and maintain all janitorial storage areas.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Must be aware of and adhere to all GMP and other plant rules.

  • Must be knowledgeable of janitorial equipment and supplies and their proper use.

  • Must be able to understand and be physically capable of performing all assigned duties.

  • Must have good time management skills and can appropriately prioritize activities.

  • Must be trusted to complete all assigned activities with limited supervision

Quality Expectations:

All employees must support and uphold all Kraft Heinz Quality Policies and Procedures as it relates to their job function, while maintaining an understanding of how their job role directly effects the success of the quality program and its components.

All employees must participate in annual training that covers the quality aspects of their job associated with all plant quality policies/procedures. All employees must know how to, follow, and conduct certain quality activities that pertain to their position in each area of the process. The employees must understand how ensue day to day expectations as it relates to the direct expectation of Kraft Heinz.

Employees must also understand the importance of producing quality products under the Kraft Heinz Beverage Division within the scope of Corporate and Plant policies.

The Quality of our products continue to attain a highly substantial level that has proven to award us with the reputation of delivering good and wholesome products for our customers/consumers. As a Company we may have the best equipment, raw materials, policies, and procedures, but if we do not have the obligation, dedication, and the willingness to abide by, observe of and perform to our quality expectancies, all other pieces in place will not matter.

Quality - Hairnet and Beard net is required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Safety glasses, Slip resistant steel toe shoes, Ear plugs.

Ownership and vigilance from all employees will help prevent accidents from occurring reoccurring. Communication, identification and reporting from the employee is one of the best tools that helps a company define where their opportunities reside within the structure of the plant.
