JOB SUMMARY
The Aviation Life Support Equipment Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, and/or replacing equipment "Helmets and NVG goggles" utilized by employees on company aircraft as well as subsidiary companies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
*Perform inspection/repair of company owned helmets
*Perform inspection/repair of NVG's
*Create shipping labels/receiving labels
*Maintain company inventory
*Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
*High Diploma or equivalent
*A&P preferred but not required
Skills
*Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast paced environment.
*Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
*Exhibits professionalism, is ethical and able to maintain confidentiality.
*Well-organized, analytical and self-directed.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to relate to and interact with people at all levels of the organization.

*Critical thinking skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
*Avionics/mechanical background preferred
*Ability to interpret technical instructions
*Ability to work with a variety of mechanical tools and instruments
Experience
*One year experience in avionics or electronic/electrical background preferred
