Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 For Finance and Operations developer to join our dynamic growing team. As a Dynamics 365 F&O Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and integrating solutions using the Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, analyze technical feasibility, and implement effective solutions to enhance our organization's operations.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions based on business requirements, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze functional and technical requirements, translating them into technical designs and development tasks.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and other systems, using tools like Power Automate, Power Apps, Azure Logic Apps and various Azure services.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues within Dynamics 365 solutions, providing timely resolutions and recommendations.
  • Keep up to date with the latest features, updates, and best practices of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal development processes, standards, and documentation.
  • Manage platform, quality and ISV updates to non-production and production environments.
  • Manage code deployments and repositories on the GIT platform in conjunction with Azure Dev Ops
  • Manage Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O environments via Microsoft Lifecycle Services, Azure and the Power Platform.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
  • Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable
  • Operate autonomously in a fast-paced growing environment.
  • Interact in a collaborative, positive fashion with business users and technology team.
  • Operate and drive items to conclusion, using good judgement and critical thinking skills.
  • Comfortable with experimentation and exploration of new technologies.
  • X++ Development
  • SQL development with design principles.
  • SSRS
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O production support.
  • Troubleshooting technical and functional issues.
  • Experience with integrating Dynamics 365 with other systems using tools like Power Automate, Power Apps, and Azure Integration Services.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
  • 3-5+ years in AX/D365 F&O development experience.
  • At least 2 years specifically with D365 F&O development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure Logic App and/or Power Automate Experience
  • Azure resource management
  • C# Development experience
  • PowerShell development
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Microservices
  • GIT experience
