Partner Account Manager - GDC Solutions

Are you interested in joining one of the largest trading and data organizations in the world and being part of the London Stock Exchange group? We have an open position in Sales and Account Management on our Managed Partners team in our Risk business!

The Partner Manager will be focused on GDC partnerships and will build and maintain relationships while offering solutions that help clients achieve their business goals. The focus will be on strategically identifying and developing new business within the existing book of GDC partners. This is done by penetrating new markets while also growing sales with existing partners. The best fit for this role is an experienced sales hunter.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain strong long-term relationships with partners, prospective partners, lead groups and other sources to increase partner awareness and generate new, repeat and referral business.
  • Identify and initiate new sales opportunities through a strategic analysis of existing partner accounts
  • Develop a thorough understanding of partner businesses and industries
  • Negotiate and influence to build consensus about GDC's products across all levels of a client's organization
  • Proactively advocate for GDC's services, cross-selling additional LSEG services to existing partners
  • Collect data and leverage information provided by business development sources to anticipate client needs and determine product fit
  • Conduct dynamic presentations and product demonstrations at various points in the sales cycle, ensuring thorough orientation to the product both before and after the sale
  • Monitor, report upon, and manage transaction volume per account as needed
  • Use Salesforce to handle and maintain accurate forecasts on an ongoing basis
  • Collaborate internally with key LSEG stakeholders to drive deals
  • Participate in the planning and marketing of GDC partner events
  • Attend tradeshows and other events as required
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust to rapidly changing priorities when needed
  • Position requires business travel dependent upon both Partner and GDC need - estimated at up to 25%

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, plus at least 7 years' business development and/or sales experience with at least some experience in the financial technology industry
  • Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation and networking skills
  • Must have experience cold calling (phone) and email/LinkedIn prospecting
  • Incentive-driven sales "hunter"
  • Track record of successful consultative sales
  • Experience initiating and building relationships with executive-level management
  • Experience working with: identity verification data, global digital identity verification
  • Self-motivated and driven go-getter with the ability to work independently
  • Must be able to successfully integrate financial scenarios into clients' business process
  • Strong problem-solving skills and high-level needs-diagnosis skills
  • Capability to influence others and get results
  • Successful experience in a performance-based compensation mode

Compensation/Benefits Information (New York applicants only):

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $102,900 - $191,300.

Compensation/Benefits Information (for all California based roles):

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $87,500 - $162,700.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
