Overview

Under general Legal Department/Contract Administration supervision, this position supports TierPoint's legal and business functions by assisting with contract preparation, interpretation, assisting with the creation and maintenance of a contract management database, and other specific legal needs of the business units in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities
    Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values.
  • Assist Legal Department attorneys in the preparation and review of customer contracts and other agreements through the use of contract management software
  • Assist Legal Department/Contract Administration in building and maintaining a centralized database of certain contracts and monitoring performance obligations under such contracts
  • Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate internal and external customers regarding contract status and obligations
  • Lead initiatives which accomplishes department objectivs through planning and evaluating department activites
  • Work with CLM, CPQ, and CRM platforms
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to use a PC, keyboard, and other standard office equipment
Qualifications

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with business emphasis or other degree plus 24 semester hours of business-related courses.
  • Adequate professional experience and knowledge to perform Job Responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work both independently and with others
  • Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications

Preferred Experience

  • 1-3 years general business or contract related experience
