Job Description

The Technical Support Specialist's main duty is to provide technical support and assistance to clients and businesses regarding hardware and software issues. Technical Support Specialists are a huge benefit to companies as they modify, clean, install and repair computer systems and hardware. Responsibilities & Duties * Handling customer technical support cases through phone and email submission * Updating the company website with tech tips and brief documents * Evaluating system potential through assessing compatibility of new programs with existing programs * Improving existing programs by evaluating objectives and specifications, reviewing proposed changes and making recommendations * Maintaining system functionality by testing computer components * Achieving computer stem objectives through collecting relevant data, identifying and evaluating options and suggesting a course of action Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * 2-4 years of relevant experience * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent in related field. * Network design and implementation * Outstanding knowledge of software maintenance * Database performance modification * Software performance modification
