Job Summary:

We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Senior Learning Architect to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Learning and Development, this strategic role will work collaboratively with Market Enablement, Practice Health and Safety and Market Launch teams to drive initiatives aligned to our business objectives and overall learning strategy. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading or supporting crucial programs, including leadership development, reward and recognition programs, and innovative instructional strategies such as gamification and micro-learning.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the team's learning experience design expert, driving the creation of immersive, effective, and engaging learning journeys.
  • Effectively act as a change agent to champion the enterprise learning strategy across functional areas and ensure stakeholder relationships stay strong and collaborative.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional clinical and non-clinical teams to understand learning needs and develop innovative and comprehensive learning solutions that meet business objectives and align with a holistic enterprise learning and development strategy.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and senior management to define leadership competencies and career pathing for key roles. Once competencies and career paths are defined, partner closely with stakeholders, instructional designers, and training delivery resources to design, develop, implement, and monitor leadership and skilling programs.
  • Partner with Director of Learning and Development to support design thinking and solutions for strategic initiatives such as reward and recognition programs to foster a positive and engaging growth culture.
  • Incorporate learning strategies like gamification, virtual reality, and micro-learning, in alignment with enterprise learning strategy, to enhance the learning experience for new and existing colleagues.
  • Provide expert guidance on learning strategies to instructional designers and training delivery functions, shaping the direction of content development and educational methodologies.
  • Partner with Director of Learning and Development to establish robust learning measurement and evaluation practices to assess the effectiveness of learning interventions and identify areas of improvement.
  • Support Instructional Design roles as needed by creating engaging and interactive learning content.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify performance gaps and recommend appropriate learning interventions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in learning and development, and proactively integrate them into ArchWell Health's learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of content and provide guidance on instructional design best practices.
  • Assist in establishing and managing the end-to-end development process, including project scoping, resource allocation, timeline management, and quality assurance.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions through data analysis and feedback collection, and make continuous improvements based on insights gained.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on learning solution implementation and adoption.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure learning solutions adhere to relevant standards.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and learning technologies.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Experience in designing and developing a variety of learning solutions, such as e-learning modules, virtual reality simulations, and gamified experiences.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in learning and development.
  • Passion for healthcare and a genuine interest in improving patient outcomes through innovative learning solutions.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Learning Solution Architect or similar role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
