SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

This position will be responsible for documenting Preventive Maintenance routines, spare parts and other asset information pertaining to the execution of engineering projects within the organization. Requires strong collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Purchasing, Safety, and Quality.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office with med to high level of proficiency using Excel and Word.
  • Able to Interpret P&ID diagrams to support installation and/or relocation of equipment.
  • Document best practices on production lines, shifts, and other plants with similar technologies.
  • Ability to use AutoCAD to read, modify, and print drawings and use them to validate machinery and components dimensions and layouts.
  • Ability to create RACI matrices with information pertaining to Continuous Improvement Projects.
  • Support the Engineering, Operations, and Safety teams in the creation of LOTO procedures.
  • Support maintenance teams in the creation of improved Preventive Maintenance routines.
  • Support the Engineering team in the project reviews and assess accuracy and adherence to timelines and project schedules. Ability to document and create issue actions.
  • Good communication skills needed to work with vendors, industrial contractors, and/or plant personnel.
  • Ability to work in a plant environment, adhere to plant and corporate safety, quality, and operations procedures and meet customer requirements

EDUCATION:

Required: High School Diploma, currently enrolled in a BS Engineering program

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

Required: Strong computer skills with special focus using Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.

Travel Requirements: 1-2 trips to other plants for project support with the installation or relocation of assets, commissioning and startup of lines.
