Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Mechanical Designer, we'll count on you to:

  • Model HVAC, plumbing, and associated control drawings and perform elementary mechanical design of ductwork and piping systems for healthcare, education, science and technology, federal, and water/wastewater under the supervision of a Mechanical Engineer.
  • Route ductwork and piping and laying out of HVAC and plumbing equipment in 3D model space.
  • Conduct short-term field assignments at client facilities to support project work as needed.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills in Revit MEP, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Building Information Modeling (BIM) preferred
  • Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.
  • Database familiarity a plus.
