Job Summary

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Introba is seeking a Vice President, People to deliver on its People-first agenda: to execute people and human resources (HR) strategies and solutions for its operations globally through partnership with business leaders, shared services, and employee engagement. The successful candidate will report to the Chief People Officer and Senior Vice President, lead a dedicated global team and partner with HR shared services and centers of expertise (COEs) in the delivery of a suite of innovative HR services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and leadership on solutions and strategies and implement and deliver programs that advance Introba's People agenda.

  • Act as a champion for the company vision, purpose, and values.

  • Gain exposure and build an operational understanding of all key areas of the business to understand and empathize with the operational roles of the team.

  • Through a focus on key employee experience drivers, provide insight and expertise to operational leaders. This will include devising and recommending to operational leaders on how to get the best out of their employees.

  • Partner with Operational, Corporate Services, and HR COE leaders to create a consistent employee experience throughout the employee life cycle.

  • Manage the collective reputation of the entire People team by being an ambassador of the People programs and defining and delivering HR solutions.

  • Partner with the Talent Attraction COE Leaders to seamlessly embed the service within the business and ensure transparency across all lines of communications to stakeholders.

  • Enable proactive Talent Attraction efforts through workforce planning, resource sharing, and forecasted gaps in talent, whether from internal factors or new business, that result in the need to acquire talent.

  • Act as a resource on competencies and development tools for managers and colleagues. Facilitate program design and implementation for employee or manager development.

  • Provide advice and counsel on performance management. Partners with managers and operational leaders to address performance gaps and facilitates discussions to assess appropriate action. Provide coaching to managers on all aspects of performance including delivering effective feedback and improving performance.

  • Have a variety of interactions with colleagues, managers, employees, and leaders in responding to questions and issues related to People policy and process. Interact with legal, safety, finance, and other interdependent functions to determine the appropriate course of action and bring issues to closure.

  • Effectively engage in resolving employee relations matters with proficient coaching of managers, to ensure Introba remains an attractive employer, and maintains strong engagement levels with employees. Conduct internal investigations and brings closure following appropriate protocol.

  • Respond to complex questions about People policy/process. Support managers in applying policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or equivalent work experience.

  • 15+ years of experience in HR with 5+ years of direct supervisory experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to consult, influence and partner with leaders in executing people strategies.

  • Well-developed team building and influencing skills, unquestioned integrity, and the experience, confidence, and stature to effectively address sensitive people issues.

  • Capability, energy, experience, presence, and accountability outlook to quickly establish and maintain the People team's credibility coupled with the ability to influence management, resolve conflicts with experience supporting leaders globally.

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization: excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

  • Informal roll up your sleeves and get it done leadership style that is people-centric, effective, and marked by a high level of energy.

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in time-sensitive situations.

  • Experience working in HRIS software, preferably Workday and Deltek.

  • Proficient knowledge of employment laws in all operational Geographies.

  • Previous A/E/C industry experience preferred.
