Directly responsible for the daily operations and staff supervision of more than two physician business units or a single practice with a unique program or services including multiple providers and co-workers. Ensures professional and technical operation of clinical units with moderate to high complexity and that all policies and procedures are followed on a day-to-day basis. May supervise other Practice Managers and Practice Coordinators. Responsible for independent management of the business units in accordance with Clinic Initiatives: Physician Satisfaction, Co-Worker Satisfaction, Patient Satisfaction, Quality, and Business Performance. Reports directly to Director or VP of Operations.
Will oversee Hospitalist, ER, ICU, and In-patient Pediatric teams with a team of 24 APP's. Working closely with medical directors within these teams.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor's degree or 5+ years clinic management experience.
Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in clinic management.
Other:
Knowledge of office management and human resource management practices. Knowledge of health care administration principles, CPT and ICD-10 codes. Computer literate.
Extensive knowledge of managed care billing practices required. Proficient with Microsoft Excel required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain working relationships with physicians, staff and the public. Excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines in timely manner.
Self-motivated. Ability to analyze balance sheets and income statements. Experience in managing accounts receivable.
